How do you add an event in Coachably?

TL;DR: Tap Add Training, set Type to Event, and fill in the name, client, date, and time. In the Schedule step you can make it repeat, then tap Save.

How do you add an event?

Events and trainings share the same modal. You just pick Event under Type.

  1. Go to the Trainings tab and tap Add Training.
  2. In the Type field, select Event (instead of Training).
  3. In the Details step, enter the Name, pick the Client, set the Date and Time, and enter the Duration (min). You can also add a Location.
  1. Tap Next to move to the Schedule step.
  2. Tap Save, or Save as Draft to finish later.

How do you make an event repeat?

In the Schedule step, open the Recurrence section:

  1. Switch Does not repeat to Repeats.
  2. Set the Frequency to Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
  3. For weekly events, select the Days of week.
  4. Optionally, set the Series end date.
  5. Tap Save.

The series creates one occurrence per interval until the Series end date.

How do you delete an event or a recurring series?

  1. Open the event from the list or calendar.
  2. Tap Delete Event.
  3. If the event is part of a recurring series, you’ll be asked: This occurrence only or Entire series.
  4. Choose your option and confirm.

FAQ

What’s the difference between an event and a training in Coachably? A training is planned with exercises for a specific client. An event is any other calendar entry — a consultation, a rest day, or a meeting — with no exercise list.

Can I reschedule one occurrence in a recurring series? Yes. Open the specific occurrence, edit the date or time, and save. The change applies to that occurrence only — the rest of the series stays as is.

How do I delete one occurrence without deleting the whole series? Open the occurrence, tap Delete Event, and choose This occurrence only.

Does the client see events in their calendar? Yes, published events are visible to the client in their schedule view.
