How do you set pricing and session defaults in Coachably?
TL;DR: Open Settings (web), set your Default session price, Default plan price, and Default duration. New payments and trainings are pre-filled from these, and you can always override them.
Where are the settings?
Settings is on the web app, in the main navigation (the gear icon). It holds your organization’s business defaults — separate from your personal Profile (name, password, language, theme).
Settings is a web-only screen. Open the Coachably web app to change these defaults.
How do you set your pricing defaults?
Under Pricing defaults, you set the amounts that pre-fill new payments (in PLN).
- Open Settings.
- Tap Default session price and enter an amount, for example
149.99. Tap to save the field. - Tap Default plan price and enter an amount the same way.
From then on:
- New payments open with the Default session price already filled in — you can edit it before saving.
- When you create a training, the Create a payment for this session toggle uses the same default session price.
Leave a price blank to keep it unset — new payments then start empty. Amounts take up to two decimal places.
How do you set your session defaults?
Under Session defaults, set the Default duration (in minutes) for a training.
- Tap Default duration and enter a whole number of minutes (60 by default).
- Save the field.
New trainings are then pre-filled with this duration in the Details step. You can still change the duration on any individual training.
How do you reset a section to defaults?
Each section has a Reset to defaults action. Tap it and confirm to clear that section — pricing goes back to unset, and session duration returns to 60 minutes.
FAQ
Are the prices in PLN? Yes. Pricing defaults are in Polish złoty (PLN).
Do these defaults change past payments or trainings? No. They only pre-fill new ones. Anything you already created stays as it was.
Can I still change the amount or duration each time? Yes. The defaults are a starting point — you can override the amount on any payment and the duration on any training.
Why can’t I find Settings on my phone? Settings is a web-only screen. Open the Coachably web app to edit your defaults.
